Referral sources will be pleased to note that we focus on practical solutions implemented within a short time frame and that we are a United Way agency.
With specific interventions to target individual, couple or family objectives, we can guide clients to personal or interpersonal solutions. That's because we utilize "best practice research" employed singularly or in a combination of cognitive, holistic and systemic family techniques.
Our degreed and licensed therapists are committed to professional and logical approaches that achieve meaningful, positive change. They emphasize the positive, the possible and the practical.
It is reasonable, in most cases, to expect positive change within 6 to 8 sessions. The individual, couples, or families you refer to us can be helped sooner rather than later.
To measure progress in therapy, clients complete a brief self-report instrument, the OQ-45 prior to each meeting and at termination. Tracking the results of the overall score and the three subscales, symptom distress, interpersonal relations and social role performance, indicates the extent to which clients are improving and achieving therapeutic goals. If scores do not demonstrate progress, therapists may reassess and reformulate treatment interventions.
Current OQ-45 data substantiate the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention for 75% of our clients within 10 or fewer meetings.
